Jeremy Fazzalaro BA(Hons)MSc IHBC ACIfA

Jeremy is a heritage consultant with a strong background in historic buildings, planning, and conservation. He began his career with English Heritage at Stonehenge, delivering talks on the history of the monument, before joining Historic England, where he advised on listing matters and planning casework.

He has since worked as a Conservation Officer for several local authorities at senior and principal level, providing expert advice on a wide range of heritage matters. His experience includes pre-application discussions, planning applications, and council-led projects such as the development of a heritage trail within a prominent conservation area.

Jeremy’s project work ranges from modest Victorian terraces and medieval timber-framed buildings to large-scale public and industrial sites. He has contributed heritage advice to significant schemes including Newtown Works, Ashford School, Croydon Airport, and the Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone.

He is passionate about historic buildings and the historic environment, and feels privileged to support sensitive, sustainable change through his work. He travels widely across the UK to provide conservation advice and has built a reputation for being thorough, approachable, and highly organised.

Jeremy holds an MSc in Historic Conservation from Oxford Brookes University. He is a Full Member of the IHBC, an Associate Member of CIfA, a committee member of the IHBC South East Branch, and a member of the Ramsgate Heritage and Design Forum..
